It’s About Time
Happy New Year, 2010
I know, that sounds a bit strange, coming from the Rabbi. Wasn’t “our” New Year on Rosh Hashanah, when we said Shana Tova, and wished that 5760 be each other a good year? Is it “traif” to wish you a Happy New year?
Of course not. Anyone who wrote a 2009 check this week knows that we now date ourselves as having arrived at 2010. We would look foolish dating our checks as 5760.

BRILLIANT!!! WONDERFUL!!!
These are only a few words that express all the emotion and energy that we experienced at the Chanukah Concert. Sparks of creation and love filled the air as music from our ancient musical heritage permeated the air carrying our hearts into the soul of the future. We are not the same! We are renewed with boundless energy of hope, faith and trust as we bring our community closer to G-d through music.
I would like to give a heartfelt thank you and extend my gratitude and appreciation to all the people that came together and helped to put this beautiful concert together.
To my beloved choir who so graciously gave their whole hearts in song, Mazal tov!
To the musicians who embraced us with a magical environment of sounds, especially to Ruth Belonsky. To the Youth orchestra, and the great confirmation class, who brought us excitement and a promise for the future.
To our sensational Kid’s Choir: You are GREAT!!
Now we are continually looking towards the future…
The PURIMSHPIEL…it will be great this year! …written by our own Steve Krashen, with songs from the “Sound of Music”,.with two performances: February 26th and 28th.
Anybody who would like to participate in it, please call me to get the rehearsal times.
IT WILL BE AMAZING!!!
As we build a holy community together, may we continue in our journey, preserving our spiritual identity and enlightened by God's love through music.
Come to pray, celebrate and sing with us!
Stay Tune!
B’shalom,
Cantor Marcelo Gindlin
